Fio focuses on offering products and services that power Financial Institutions in their digital transformation journey in the space of Capital Market and Cloud.
He was the Chief Technology Officer at the State Bank of India, Mumbai, between October 2019 – November 2022.
At SBI, he was responsible for managing the data centres, network infrastructure, private cloud, cloud strategy and YONO.
He started his career in banking as Assistant General Manager at ICICI Bank, where he worked from 2008 - 2013.
He subsequently joined the YES Bank in 2013 as Group Executive Vice President - Digital Banking Technology, Treasury Technology, Testing Centre of Excellence, AI - NLP and was subsequently promoted as the Group President in the same role, till October 2019. His core areas of expertise include Treasury Technology, Digital Banking, Testing and AI –NLP.
Mr. Pai completed his BE is Biomedical/bio Engineering from the University of Mumbai. He subsequently completed a 2-year Postgraduate Diploma in Software technology, Computer software Engineering from the National Centre for Software technology and his Masters in Financial Management, Finance, from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai.
