Shailendra is the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Ltd. Which is a leading financial services company.
Shailendra, is a part of the Senior Leadership Team of the Company, and manages the control functions of Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Investment mid-office, Information Security, Business Continuity, Market Conduct, Legal, Internal Audit and Secretarial.
Prior to this, he was working with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. for 11 years.
He also has experience in Pharma, Consumer Goods and Consulting.
Shailendra is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. He did his graduation from HR College of Commerce and Economics in 1998.
He is a speaker at various forums, both nationally and internationally.
He has won the prestigious Golden Peacock Award on Risk Management in 2022 and 2016, multiple industry recognitions like CRO of the Year, Best Risk Management Team etc.
He is fond of reading, music and meeting and interacting with people across diverse age, occupation, backgrounds. He believes in the maxim – Live life to the fullest; you will never get another opportunity and is a learner for life.
